Heavy Exercise May Cause Testicular Pain Significantly Elevated GGT Levels -- But No Normal Causative Reason. (?) Yikes.?

Significantly elevated GGT levels -- but no normal causative reason. (?) Yikes.? - heavy exercise may cause testicular pain

Today I discovered that the blood tests came back with a height of 189 GGT. (I understand this is normal u0026lt \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\, 50). But in my quick search, reading, is something to stand the excessive consumption of alcohol in context. But I do not drink, except perhaps a bottle of wine per month - the glass with dinner on the third night of all sorts of things. And they were in such consumption, or less than 35 years. All ideas, which may be the cause? What in the world of other things can be the cause? Practice I (preparing for a triathlon), take vitamins twice to drink water as my drink of choice, etc., to say that I am astonished at the present time is an understatement. I like the idea.

  1. GGT is a leading indicator for liver damage. there is little research in the extras that could be the cause. It can also be a wrong height ... repeat the test could help. If you do this test as a screen life insurance they now need a doctor or an insurance coordinator will be in a category with increased risk

  2. Why the test is ordered? Are you taking any medication regularly?

I am sure that your doctor will follow-up tests to determine exactly what effect that corresponds to the height of a high GGT level, liver damage, but no clues to the cause.

In addition, you must be aware that there can be an elevated GGT is an indicator of an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
